Marketing and Communications Director

Purpose and Scope of Position:

 

The Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for The Dragas Companies’ corporate and project marketing and communications initiatives including: brand stewardship, digital marketing, PR, and advertising (digital and print). Responsibilities include ongoing development, management, and implementation of all marketing, communications, and advertising activities of Dragas Communities and ensuring that all marketing efforts of Dragas Commercial and Mortgage operations align with corporate business goals, strategic direction, and brand guidelines.

Essential Functions: (other duties may be assigned): 

• Manage marketing initiatives for the Dragas Companies (including Commercial and philanthropic efforts), Dragas Communities and Dragas Mortgage

• Create and implement strategic and cost effective tactical plans to generate leads and traffic to sites, increase market share, and elevate brand awareness across traditional and digital media platforms

• Serve as brand steward, ensuring consistent corporate messaging and image use throughout all product lines, and across all platforms to include promotional materials and events

• Manage, monitor, and optimize digital presence using data analytics for Dragas Companies, Dragas Communities and Dragas Mortgage, including SEO, social media, digital advertising, and websites

• Design and launch marketing campaigns and collateral (brochures, webpages, signage, digital and print advertisements, etc.) for all Dragas Communities

• Prepare written materials to include marketing copy, business communications, reports, press releases and presentation scripts  

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including New Business Development, Sales, Condominium Management, Administration, Production, Design, Warranty, and Finance to produce effective promotional and communications materials for internal and external stakeholders

• Manage relationships with media partners and creative agencies to develop and execute integrated strategies and campaigns

• Set and monitor key performance indicators for marketing campaigns and continuously track, report, and optimize to achieve established business goals

• Prepare and manage annual marketing budgets; track and prepare monthly/quarterly reports

• Oversee, commission or conduct market research and monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities, including regional and national market trends; adjust marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions

• Develop schedules and maintain deadlines

• Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners

• Represent company at meetings and events to promote and advance company interests

 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications; Master’s in Business Administration a plus

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a multi-channel marketing role (marketing, advertising, brand management and digital optimization)

• Experience in the real estate and/or home builder industry

• Experience with Google Analytics, paid digital advertising, content marketing, social media, and SEO 

• Experience in marketing automation (e.g. HubSpot) a plus

• Strong analytical skills 

• Exceptional written and oral communication skills

• High level of professionalism and demonstrated leadership

• Proven collaborator and team player

 

Technical skills: 

Microsoft Office, Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, Publisher, Outlook; experience with a CMS platform (e.g. Pimcore, WordPress) a plus

• Finger dexterity to operate office equipment 

• Lift/carry 10-40 lbs. on occasion

• See in small detail and beyond arm's reach to view computer screens, reports, forms, etc.
